Step 2: Your Initial Consultation & Vision

Once you've connected with us, the next step depends on your preference!

If you call or email us about a project (like a bathroom remodel), we'll likely schedule a convenient time for one of our talented designers to visit your home. This on-site visit allows us to take measurements and get a clear understanding of your space and its unique characteristics.

If you visit our showroom, we'll spend time getting to know you and your lifestyle. We'll discuss your preferences, what you love (and don't love!) about your current space, and all your aspirations for your remodel. This collaborative conversation helps us truly grasp your vision.

Step 3: Precise On-Site Measuring

After our initial discussions, we'll schedule a dedicated time to conduct our professional on-site measurements. This meticulous step is vital. It allows us to accurately draw your space using our advanced design software and make precise calculations for the exact amount of product needed, ensuring a smooth and efficient project.

Step 4: Explore Our World of Samples

Stepping into our showroom is where your design ideas truly begin to take shape. Our designers will guide you through an incredible array of samples, helping you navigate the many options for materials, colors, and finishes. We'll expertly narrow down choices based on your style preferences and budget, ensuring you don't feel overwhelmed.

We encourage you to take samples home! Seeing them in your own lighting and alongside your existing decor is crucial for making confident decisions.

Don't have a contractor or an installer lined up? No problem! Decker Design can provide you with a trusted installer for your project. We work with many experienced professionals, some of whom have been leaders in the industry for over thirty years. Our goal is to ensure you are absolutely delighted with the final results.

Step 6: Paperwork & Payments

Throughout the design and planning process, we'll compile all the necessary documents for your project. This includes detailed estimates, work orders, purchase orders, and invoices. Having all this information readily available ensures clarity and transparency every step of the way.

When you're ready to move forward and order your materials, we'll ask for a down payment upfront. While the required amount can vary depending on the designer and project scope, you can generally expect a minimum 50% down payment to get your exciting project officially started!
